Webinar: Liquid Biopsy in Routine Molecular Pathology - How It Runs in Practice
When: Wednesday, November 4, 2026 | 17:00–17:45 CET
Where: Zoom | Live technical webinar in English
What does running liquid biopsy in a routine molecular pathology lab look like today?
This technical webinar looks at liquid biopsy as it runs today in a routine molecular pathology lab: how samples move through the workflow, where the quality checkpoints sit, and how plasma results are read alongside tissue.
Sanga Mitra Boppudi, PhD, Director of Assay Development at Hedera Dx, will walk through the Hedera ctDNA workflow step by step, from sample intake to report, and the QC checkpoints labs rely on in daily runs. André Oszwald, MD, Department of Pathology, Medical University of Vienna, will show how his department runs ctDNA testing alongside tissue in routine practice, using cases from his own lab.
Moderated by Svetlana Nikic, PhD, the 45-minute session closes with a live Q&A on the speakers' day-to-day experience running the workflow.
Learning objectives
- See how the Hedera ctDNA workflow runs end to end in the lab, from sample intake to report.
- Learn the sample requirements, QC checkpoints and assay limitations labs manage in routine runs.
- See how a university pathology department combines tissue and plasma results in routine cases.
- Put your own workflow questions to an assay developer and a practicing pathologist.
